Hrelov Tower

The Hrelov Tower is the oldest preserved building in the Rila Monastery. It was built in 1335 by protosevast Stefan Hrelio Dragovol. The tower is made of stone, has five floors and is 23.60 meters high. On the top floor we find the chapel "Transfiguration" with frescoes from the XIV century.
